Soyuz 19.5" Adjustable Integrated LED Starburst Metal/Acrylic Pendant

Q : Is the acrylic on this pendant prone to scratching or yellowing over time, especially if it's in a busy area?

A : Acrylic, while clear and beautiful, can be prone to scratches if exposed to abrasive materials. The product description mentions it's made popular by the Lucite company and is easy to clean, suggesting good durability. However, for high-traffic areas or environments where it might be bumped, extra care could be beneficial. We don't have specific information on yellowing, but acrylic generally holds its clarity well with proper care.

Q : How is this pendant cleaned? i'm worried about dust building up on the acrylic rays.

A : To clean the pendant, always disconnect the power source first. You should then wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. It's important to avoid using chemicals or household cleaners, as these can potentially damage the finish on the metal or the acrylic.

Q : Does this fixture require special bulbs, or is it a standard fitting?

A : This pendant features integrated LED lights, which means no separate bulbs are required. The light is built directly into the fixture, offering a 18W LED bulb.

Q : Is the height of this pendant adjustable after installation, or is it fixed at a certain length?

A : The title indicates that the Soyuz pendant is 'Adjustable.' This typically means the suspension height can be modified during installation to suit your ceiling height and desired look.

Q : Will the metal parts of this starburst pendant rust or tarnish, particularly in a humid environment like a bathroom?

A : The product description doesn't specify the exact metal finish or its resistance to humidity. However, for any metal fixture, it's generally recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to high moisture environments to prevent potential tarnishing or rust. Proper cleaning with a dry cloth should help maintain its appearance.

Q : Is this pendant suitable for a child's room or a playroom where it might be bumped?

A : While the starburst design is eye-catching, the acrylic rays could potentially be delicate if subjected to rough play or impacts. We recommend installation in areas where it's less likely to be bumped, or with careful supervision for younger children.

Q : Does this fixture require hardwiring, and is it something i can do myself?

A : Yes, this fixture must be hardwired. Due to this requirement, we strongly recommend having a professional electrician manage the installation to ensure safety and proper function.

Q : What kind of ambiance does the led light create? is it a warm or cool white?

A : The product description focuses on the design and materials but does not specify the color temperature of the integrated LED light. Typically, integrated LEDs in modern fixtures can range from warm to cool white. You may want to check additional product specifications or contact customer service for more detailed lighting information.
