Contemporary Pop Modern Abstract Area Rug

Q : Can this rug handle a busy family room with lots of foot traffic?

A : Yes, this rug is specifically designed for high-traffic areas. The 0.35-inch plush pile is power-loomed from durable polypropylene, which helps it resist looking matted or worn down even in the busiest parts of your home.

Q : Is this rug a good option for a house with pets that shed?

A : This is a great choice for pet owners because the 100% polypropylene material is very easy to maintain. Since it doesn't shed like a wool rug, you won't have extra fibers to deal with, and the short pile height makes it much easier to vacuum up pet hair.

Q : Does the material shed a lot when it's new?

A : You shouldn't experience shedding with this rug. Unlike natural fiber rugs, this power-loomed synthetic material is designed to stay intact. To keep it looking its best, just make sure to use a brushless vacuum for regular cleaning.

Q : How soft does the rug feel if you're walking on it barefoot?

A : The rug has a 0.35-inch plush cut pile that provides a soft and comfortable texture underfoot. It’s a good balance of being cozy enough for a bedroom or living room while still being low-profile enough to stay durable.

Q : Does it have a rubber backing to keep it from sliding on hardwood floors?

A : This rug does not have a built-in backing. To prevent it from sliding and to add a bit of extra cushioning, it is highly recommended to use a rug pad underneath it.

Q : What is the best way to clean a liquid spill on this rug?

A : If you spill something, you should immediately blot the area with a clean, undyed cloth. Press down firmly to absorb as much liquid as possible without rubbing, as rubbing can spread the stain. For any stubborn spots, it is best to have the rug professionally cleaned.

Q : The rug arrived with some ripples and creases. how long does it take to flatten out?

A : It is common for rugs to have temporary creases from being tightly rolled during shipping. These usually disappear on their own after about a week on the floor. You can speed up the process by back-rolling the rug in the opposite direction before laying it flat.

Q : Will the colors fade if the rug is placed in a very sunny room?

A : To preserve the vibrant coral, gold, and navy tones, it is recommended to avoid placing the rug in direct, continuous sunlight. You should also rotate the rug regularly to ensure any wear and light exposure remain consistent across the entire surface.
