Dragonfly Tiffany Style 60" Arched LED Floor Lamp

Q : Is this lamp safe around pets that like to chew on cords or climb on furniture?

A : The cord is silk‑wrapped for a smooth, non‑abrasive feel and has a length of about 72 inches, so there's no exposed wiring for pets to bite. The glass shade is solid with no loose pieces. However, keep the lamp out of reach of very curious dogs or cats that may try to knock it over.

Q : Can i vacuum or use a damp cloth to clean the stained glass shade?

A : Vacuuming is fine for dust; just use a soft brush attachment. For spot cleaning, unplug the lamp, wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid damp or chemical cleaners, as they can damage the glass and the silk‑wrapped cord.

Q : Will the silk‑wrapped cord fray or lose its smooth feel over time?

A : Silk‑wrap is a durable material but, like any cord, can show wear if frequently tugged or exposed to harsh sunlight. Regularly inspect for fraying and replace if you notice any loose strands. The cord is also designed to be flexible enough for everyday use.

Q : Is this lamp sturdy enough for a busy entryway where people might bump into it?

A : The base is solid and the foot‑step switch is designed for repeated use. However, because the shade is made of stained glass, it may be more susceptible to damage if someone were to knock it over. Placing it on a low‑traffic wall or corner can help avoid accidental impacts.

Q : How comfortable is the lamp's base to walk on or stand beside?

A : The base is a typical floor‑lamp footprint, relatively low and stable. It should feel firm underfoot, but because the shade is arched, there's a small overhang; standing directly under it is fine. If you have pets that jump on furniture, consider placing it where they cannot climb onto the base.

Q : Where is the best room to install this lamp for maximum effect?

A : Its Art Nouveau design works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or study areas where you want a focal point. In a bedroom, placing it near a nightstand can add a decorative touch, while in a living room it can serve as a statement piece beside a sofa or in an entry hall.

Q : Do i need a special switch or dimmer to use the led bulb that comes with the lamp?

A : The lamp has a simple on‑off foot‑step switch and is compatible with any 9 W LED bulb. A dimmer is not required but can be used if you have a compatible dimmer circuit; otherwise, the bulb will operate at full brightness.

Q : Will the colors of the glass shade fade after years of exposure to sunlight?

A : The glass is hand‑soldered and the colors are sealed with a protective coating. Over time, prolonged direct sunlight can cause slight fading, especially for the brighter blues and reds. Positioning the lamp away from direct windows helps preserve the original hues.
