This ivory glass umbrella-shaped lampshade is accented with lovely amber 'jewels' and bordered in a scalloped edge, all held up by a tall, bronzed metal base. One of the finest techniques to come out of the Art Nouveau movement, the Tiffany-style stained glass shade would be a statement-making element to brighten any dark corner. While steeped in traditional design, this piece is updated with the functionality expected today -- a step-on on/off button, LED bulb compatibility, and a beautiful silk-wrapped cord. Each shade is hand-made by artisans who specialize in the intricate art of stained glass soldering.

Questions & Answers

Q : Is the stained glass shade durable enough for a home with pets?

A : The stained glass shade is handcrafted and soldered with metal, offering a sturdy construction. While generally durable, it's always a good idea to be mindful of pets around delicate glass elements to prevent accidental damage from claws or playful bumps.

Q : How should i clean the ivory glass lampshade and amber jewels?

A : To clean the lampshade and jewels, first disconnect the power source. Then, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. It's important to avoid using any chemicals or household cleaners, as these can potentially damage the finish of the glass and solder.

Q : Will the bronzed metal base show scratches or wear over time, especially in a busy room?

A : The bronzed metal base is designed to complement the Tiffany-style shade. While metal finishes can naturally develop a patina over time with use, the quality of the material should offer good resistance to typical wear and tear in a moderately trafficked area. For high-traffic zones, you might consider placement that minimizes direct contact.

Q : What kind of lighting is best for this lamp? incandescent, cfl, or led?

A : This lamp is versatile and can take up to a 60-watt incandescent bulb, a 13-watt CFL bulb, or a 9-watt LED bulb. An eco-friendly 9W LED bulb is actually included with your purchase, offering energy efficiency and good illumination.

Q : What's the length of the power cord, and is it a standard color?

A : The power cord for this lamp is 72 inches long, which provides ample reach. It's also beautifully silk-wrapped, adding a touch of elegance and making it easy to conceal or a lovely accent if left visible.

Q : Does the lamp have a foot switch or a pull chain?

A : This Lee Tiffany Style Floor Lamp features a convenient step-on on/off button located at the base, making it easy to operate without reaching for a chain. This is a modern convenience that complements its traditional design.

Q : Is this lamp ul listed, and what does that mean for safety?

A : Yes, this lamp is UL Listed. This certification indicates that the product has been tested and meets the safety standards set by Underwriters Laboratories, ensuring it's safe for home use.

Q : Can i use more than one led bulb if i want it brighter?

A : The product details specify that the lamp takes one bulb. Therefore, you can only use one bulb at a time, whether it's an incandescent, CFL, or LED. The included 9W LED bulb provides efficient lighting for its intended purpose.
