Questions & Answers

Q : I have an older home with plaster ceilings. will this chandelier be too heavy for them?

A : This Nova chandelier is designed with lighter-weight acrylic beads, making it ideal for older plaster ceilings. The acrylic material refracts light similarly to glass but significantly reduces the overall weight and stress on your ceiling compared to traditional glass beaded fixtures.

Q : What kind of bulbs does this chandelier use, and are they included?

A : The chandelier takes five bulbs and is compatible with any 9W LED, 40W Type 'B', or 13W CFL bulb. An eco-friendly 4W LED bulb is included with your purchase.

Q : How long is the chain, and can i adjust it to hang lower in my room?

A : The chain is adjustable prior to installation, allowing you to customize the drop. The total range for the chain and fixture combined is from 24 inches to 96 inches from the ceiling to the base of the fixture.

Q : What is the best way to clean this chandelier without damaging the bronze finish or acrylic beads?

A : To clean, always disconnect the power source first. Gently wipe the fixture and beads with a soft, dry cloth. It's important to avoid using any chemicals or household cleaners, as these can potentially damage the finish.

Q : Is this chandelier suitable for a dining room, or is it more for a bedroom?

A : This chandelier's classic silhouette and sparkling acrylic beads would be a beautiful addition to a dining room, adding a touch of magic to meal times. It would also work wonderfully in a bedroom or living area, providing elegant illumination.

Q : Since it's hardwired, is installation complicated for a diyer?

A : As this fixture must be hardwired, we recommend hiring a professional electrician for installation. This ensures the fixture is installed safely and correctly.

Q : Will the acrylic beads scratch or discolor over time with regular dusting?

A : The acrylic beads are durable for regular dusting with a soft cloth. While acrylic is designed to maintain its clarity, avoiding abrasive cleaning materials will help preserve their appearance over time.
