Jaxon 62.5" Metal LED Floor Lamp

Q : Is the gold finish on this lamp likely to tarnish or change color over time, especially if it's in a sunny spot?

A : The Jaxon floor lamp features a gold finish designed for durability. While direct, prolonged sunlight can affect most finishes, this lamp is constructed with quality materials to maintain its appearance. Regular dusting with a soft cloth should help preserve its look.

Q : How stable is this floor lamp? i have pets and little ones, so i'm worried about it tipping over.

A : The lamp has a substantial metal construction which provides good stability. However, as with any tall floor lamp, it's always advisable to place it on a level surface. While it's not specifically designed with anti-tip features, its weight should offer reasonable stability in most home environments.

Q : What kind of cleaning is needed for the cotton drum shade? can it be spot cleaned if it gets a small stain?

A : For cleaning the cotton drum shade, it's recommended to disconnect the power source first. You should wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using chemicals or household cleaners, as these can potentially damage the fabric or finish. For minor spots, a very gently dab with a slightly damp cloth might be attempted, but test in an inconspicuous area first.

Q : Is the light emitted from this lamp warm or cool, and is it bright enough for reading comfortably?

A : The lamp comes with an eco-friendly 9W LED bulb, which is equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb in brightness. The description doesn't specify the color temperature of the LED bulb, but typically, LED bulbs used for general lighting are designed for comfortable illumination. The height of the lamp makes it ideal for providing direct reading light beside a sofa or chair.

Q : The description mentions a silk-wrapped cord. is this cord very thick or stiff, or is it flexible and easy to manage around furniture?

A : The 72-inch cord is silk-wrapped, which is intended to be both aesthetically pleasing and easy to conceal. It is designed to be flexible, allowing for management around furniture. The silk wrapping adds a touch of elegance while maintaining practicality.

Q : How much assembly is required for this floor lamp? do i need special tools?

A : The product description does not detail the assembly process. However, most floor lamps of this type typically involve screwing the pole sections together and attaching the shade. You likely won't need specialized tools beyond what's commonly found in a household toolkit, if anything at all.

Q : Given its height and design, would this lamp work well in a busy living room with lots of foot traffic, or is it more suited for a quieter corner?

A : At nearly 63 inches tall, this lamp is well-suited for providing ambient or task lighting in a living room, perhaps beside a sofa or club chair. Its stability should be adequate for moderate foot traffic, provided it's placed away from direct pathways where it could be bumped frequently. It can certainly add a stylish element to a high-traffic area when positioned thoughtfully.
