Joyce 69.5" Metal LED Floor Lamp

Q : Is this floor lamp safe to have around pets? my cat likes to scratch things.

A : The lamp is constructed with a metal body and shade, which is generally durable and can withstand some minor scratching. While it's not specifically designed as pet-proof, the smooth finish on the metal parts might be less appealing for scratching compared to fabric. The silk-wrapped cord is a nice touch but might be a temptation for some pets, so keeping it tidy is recommended.

Q : How do i clean the shade and fixture without damaging the white finish?

A : To clean the lamp, it's important to first disconnect the power source. You can then gently wipe down the metal shade and fixture with a soft, dry cloth. It's best to avoid using any chemicals or household cleaners, as these can potentially damage the white finish over time.

Q : Will the white finish yellow or discolor over time, especially if it's near a window?

A : The product description doesn't specify a treatment against yellowing. However, metal finishes are generally quite stable. Keeping the lamp out of direct, prolonged sunlight can help preserve the bright white finish and prevent any potential discoloration.

Q : This lamp is quite tall at 69.5 inches. is it sturdy enough for a busy living room with kids and pets running around?

A : The Joyce floor lamp has a metal construction, which lends it good stability for its height. The base provides a solid foundation. While it's generally sturdy, as with any tall floor lamp, it's always a good idea to place it in a location where it's less likely to be bumped or knocked over, especially in high-traffic areas with active children or pets.

Q : What kind of bulb does this lamp use, and is it energy efficient?

A : An eco-friendly 9W LED bulb is included with the lamp. It's also compatible with any 12W LED bulb or a 100W TYPE 'A' or 23W CFL bulb. The included LED bulb is designed for energy efficiency.

Q : Where is the best place to position this lamp in my home? would it work in a bedroom or a reading nook?

A : This floor lamp, with its bright white finish and commanding height of 69.5 inches, would be a striking addition to various spaces. It's well-suited for brightening up a living room, providing ambient light in a bedroom, or serving as functional lighting for a reading nook. The foot-step switch also makes it convenient to operate without having to reach.

Q : How long is the power cord, and is it noticeable?

A : The power cord measures 72 inches in length, which offers a good amount of flexibility for placement. It's also silk-wrapped, giving it a more refined and less obtrusive appearance compared to a standard plastic cord, making it easier to blend into your decor.
