Lucian Modern Geometric Abstract Two-tone Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug

Q : Is this rug suitable for a home with pets, specifically a dog that scratches furniture?

A : The rug is made from durable synthetic fibers and features a woven construction, which generally holds up well to wear and tear. While it's designed for durability, we recommend using a rug pad for added stability and to help prevent excessive movement. For persistent scratching, supervision and training are always advised.

Q : How easy is it to clean up spills on this rug?

A : This rug is designed for easy care. For liquid spills, you should blot them immediately with a clean, undyed cloth, pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For more stubborn stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.

Q : Does this rug shed over time?

A : As this rug is made from synthetic polypropylene fibers and is power loomed, shedding is typically minimal. Regular vacuuming with a brushless vacuum will help maintain its appearance and prevent any loose fibers from accumulating.

Q : Can this rug withstand a lot of foot traffic in a busy hallway or living room?

A : Yes, the durable woven construction made from outdoor polypropylene makes this rug suitable for high-traffic areas. Its flat-woven design and robust material are intended to withstand regular use in busy spaces like living rooms or entryways.

Q : What is the thickness and feel of this rug like underfoot?

A : The rug has a thickness of 0.23 inches, which is quite slim. It's a flat-woven design, so while it provides a visual layer and some comfort, it won't feel plush like a thick shag rug. It's more for adding style and a surface layer than deep cushioning.

Q : I'm looking for a rug for my sunroom. will direct sunlight fade the colors on this rug?

A : While this rug is suitable for outdoor use, it's advised to avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Prolonged exposure can cause colors to fade over time. Rotating the rug periodically can also help ensure more even wear and color retention.

Q : Does the rug come with a non-slip backing?

A : This rug does not come with a backing. We highly recommend using a rug pad, which is sold separately, to prevent the rug from slipping and to add an extra layer of comfort and protection.

Q : How will the rug arrive? will it be rolled or folded?

A : Rugs are typically rolled for shipping. You may notice temporary creases due to packing and shipping. These usually flatten out within a week on the floor. To speed up the process, you can try back-rolling the rug before laying it down.
