Stewart 21.5" Wood LED Table Lamp

Q : Will the wood on this lamp hold up well if i have pets who might scratch it?

A : The lamp is made of wood and has an earthy texture. While wood can be susceptible to scratches from pets, its durability would depend on the individual animal and how they interact with the furniture. It's always a good idea to place furniture out of reach of pets if scratching is a significant concern.

Q : What's the best way to clean the wooden parts of the lamp?

A : To clean the wooden parts, it's recommended to disconnect the power source first. Then, simply wipe with a soft, dry cloth. It's important to avoid using chemicals or household cleaners, as these can potentially damage the wood's finish over time.

Q : Does the linen drum shade require any special cleaning or can it be vacuumed?

A : For cleaning the lamp shade, you should always disconnect the power source beforehand. The material is a 100% cotton hardback drum shade. A soft, dry cloth is recommended for wiping it clean. Avoid using chemicals and household cleaners as they might affect the material or finish.

Q : How long is the power cord, and what type of plug does it have?

A : The Stewart lamp features a 60-inch black and silver silk-wrapped cord. It comes with a standard USA 2-prong plug, which is compatible with most household outlets.

Q : What kind of bulb does this lamp use, and is one included?

A : An eco-friendly 4W LED bulb is included with the lamp. It takes one bulb and is compatible with any 9W LED or a 40W TYPE 'A' or 13W CFL bulb.

Q : I need a lamp for my bedside table, will this be a good size?

A : At 21.5 inches high, this lamp would sit perfectly atop a desk, armoire, or side table. Its size makes it well-suited for a bedside table where you might need reading light without taking up too much space.

Q : Is the on-off switch easy to reach from a seated position?

A : Yes, the lamp has an on-off rotary switch located directly on the socket. This placement makes it convenient to turn the light on and off without having to reach for a cord or a switch on the base.

Q : Can i use this lamp in a living room that gets a lot of daily use?

A : The lamp's design, with its wooden structure and linen shade, would blend well with various décor styles. While it's suitable for placement on an end table or side table in a living room, its suitability for high-traffic areas would depend on its specific placement to avoid accidental bumps or damage.
