Evans 61" Metal LED Side Table Floor Lamp

Q : Will the metal pedestal base hold up if my cat jumps on it?

A : The brass‑finished metal base is solid and designed to stay upright, so occasional cat hops shouldn't cause tipping or damage.

Q : How should i clean the 100% cotton drum shade without ruining it?

A : First disconnect the lamp, then gently dust the shade with a soft, dry cloth; for deeper cleaning, spot‑clean with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry, avoiding any harsh chemicals.

Q : Is the black silk‑wrapped cord prone to fraying if my dog likes to chew on cords?

A : The silk wrap adds a layer of protection, but it’s still a cord, so it’s best to keep it out of reach of chewing pets or use a cord cover.

Q : Can this hybrid lamp be placed in a high‑traffic hallway without getting scratched easily?

A : The satin black finish is fairly resistant to minor scuffs, but in a busy hallway you may want to use a rug or runner to protect the base from frequent contact.

Q : Does the lamp feel stable enough to hold drinks or a small tray as a side table?

A : The brad pedestal base provides good stability, and the on‑off switch sits on the socket, so you can safely place a light tray or drink without wobbling.

Q : What’s the ideal placement for this piece in a bedroom compared to a living room?

A : In a bedroom it works well beside a nightstand or at the foot of the bed for reading; in a living room it can anchor a sofa corner or sit next to an armchair as both lamp and end table.

Q : Will the cotton shade shed fibers over time, especially with pets around?

A : Cotton can release a few tiny fibers initially, but regular gentle dusting will keep shedding minimal, and pets won’t noticeably affect it.
