Questions & Answers

Q : Is the marble base heavy enough to prevent my cat from knocking over the lamp?

A : The lamp features a weighted marble base specifically designed for stability. While it's robust, we always recommend placing it in a location where it's less likely to be bumped, especially in homes with very active pets.

Q : How do i clean the linen drum shade if it gets dusty or has a small stain?

A : To clean the shade, first disconnect the lamp from the power source. Gently wipe the shade with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For any minor marks, avoid harsh chemicals; a slightly damp cloth may be used with caution, but always test in an inconspicuous area first and allow it to dry completely.

Q : Will the silk-wrapped cord fray or wear out over time, especially if it's in a busy walkway?

A : The 72-inch cord is silk-wrapped for a refined look and added durability. While designed to be long-lasting, if placed in a high-traffic area where it might be stepped on frequently, consider routing it along a wall or furniture to minimize wear.

Q : What type of light bulb does this lamp take and is it energy efficient?

A : An eco-friendly 9W LED bulb is included with the lamp. It also accepts one bulb that is compatible with any 12W LED or a 100W Type 'A' bulb, or a 23W CFL bulb.

Q : Where would this lamp look best? i'm thinking of putting it in my living room.

A : This floor lamp is designed with a simple and elegant aesthetic, making it a versatile addition to any living space. It's particularly well-suited for living rooms, bedrooms, or reading nooks where its minimalist design can complement various decor styles.

Q : Can i use a smart bulb with this lamp?

A : The lamp is compatible with LED bulbs up to 12W, Type 'A' bulbs up to 100W, or CFL bulbs up to 23W. If you use a smart bulb that fits within these wattage and type specifications, it should function correctly.

Q : How tall is the lamp, and what are the dimensions of the shade?

A : The lamp stands at 62.5 inches tall. The linen drum shade measures 13 inches in diameter, providing a balanced proportion to the overall fixture.
