Stork 19" Feather Metal Adjustable LED Pendant

Q : I'm a bit concerned about my cat potentially snagging the feathers. is this pendant durable enough to withstand curious paws?

A : The feathers on this fixture are delicate and primarily for aesthetic appeal. While it's a beautiful piece, it might not be the best choice for a home with very active pets who might interact with the feathers. We recommend placing it in an area where it's less likely to be disturbed by pets.

Q : How do i clean this fixture without damaging the feathers or the metal finish?

A : To clean, always disconnect the power source first. You can gently wipe the fixture and its shades with a soft, dry cloth. It's important to avoid using any chemicals or household cleaners, as these can unfortunately damage the finish and the feathers.

Q : Will the feathers eventually shed or become discolored over time?

A : The feathers are designed to be a lasting textural element of the fixture. With proper care and by avoiding harsh cleaning agents, they should maintain their appearance. Regular dusting with a soft cloth will help preserve their look.

Q : Is this pendant suitable for a hallway or entryway where there's a lot of foot traffic?

A : This pendant is designed to bring joyful light and texture, making it a charming addition to contemporary spaces. However, due to the delicate nature of the feathers, it might be better suited for areas with less direct traffic and potential for accidental bumps, rather than high-traffic zones.

Q : What kind of bulbs are compatible with this fixture, and is the led bulb included dimmable?

A : An eco-friendly 9W LED bulb is included with this fixture. It takes one bulb and is compatible with any 9W LED, 60W TYPE 'A', or 13W CFL bulb. The fixture can be dimmable, but you'll need to use a dimmable bulb (not included) and an Electric Low Voltage dimmer, which is sold separately.

Q : Can i adjust the height of the pendant myself, or do i need an electrician for that?

A : The fixture does have an adjustable drop, allowing you to customize its length to your ceiling height. However, since this fixture must be hardwired, we do recommend a professional electrician to manage the installation process to ensure it's done safely and correctly.
