Make sure to double-check your phone is connected to the 2.4Ghz WiFi and not the “5G” WiFi in your home. Please contact your internet service provider to set up the 2.4Ghz WiFi — they will be able to do it remotely if needed.
If you cannot get the smart light bulb to flash to enable pairing, try a different power source/lamp which has a different switch. Alternatively, try flicking the power source switch on/off at different speeds. Give the light 10 seconds to rest after turning it off before attempting to initiate pairing mode. Once you’ve paired your light, you can turn it off, screw it into its permanent location and it will remain paired.
Smart Plugs enter pairing mode automatically and should be easy to pick up via the app as long as you are on 2.4Ghz WiFi.

Do The Bulbs Get Hot?
Yes, they do get warm but not scorching hot where it will burn your hand. A good rule of “thumb” is to let the bulb cool before touching it after long-term use (over 30 minutes).
