Q : Can this pendant light be hung on a sloped ceiling?

A : The product description mentions it's an adjustable-height pendant that works best for ceilings up to fourteen-feet high. It doesn't specify compatibility with sloped ceilings, so it would be best to consult with an electrician for installation on a sloped surface.

Q : What type of light bulb should i use with this fixture?

A : This pendant light takes one bulb and is compatible with TYPE 'A' 60W incandescent bulbs, CFL 13W bulbs, or LED 9W bulbs. The color temperature of the light it emits is 2700K and it has a CRI of 80.

Q : How long is the cord on this plug-in pendant?

A : The cord on this Isla pendant light is 180 inches long, providing ample length for placement options when using the plug-in feature.

Q : Is the rattan material prone to shedding or unraveling over time?

A : The shade is woven with natural seagrass fibers onto a spheroid metal frame. While natural materials can have some natural variation, the weaving technique and frame are designed for durability. Regular dusting should help maintain its appearance.

Q : How do i clean the seagrass shade?

A : To clean the shade, first disconnect the power source. Then, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. It's important to avoid using chemicals or household cleaners, as these can potentially damage the natural finish of the seagrass.

Q : Is this pendant suitable for a kitchen environment where there might be cooking grease?

A : The cleaning instructions advise against using chemicals or household cleaners. While a light dusting can be done, prolonged exposure to grease might be difficult to clean effectively from the natural seagrass material. It might be better suited for areas with less airborne grease.

Q : Does this fixture come with a dimmer switch?

A : The product information does not mention a built-in dimmer switch. However, if you use a compatible LED or CFL bulb and an external dimmer switch in your wiring, you may be able to control the brightness.

Q : What is the diameter of the shade?

A : The description states the shade has a 17" width, contributing to the overall 14" pendant size.
