Benton 24.7" Round Integrated LED Crystal/Metal Pendant

Q : Will my dog's claws damage the crystal or metal part of this pendant?

A : The pendant is suspended from the ceiling, so pets won't come into direct contact with it. However, if a pet were to climb or touch the fixture, the chrome finish could scratch and the crystal edges might chip. It's best to keep pets away from the hanging area to preserve the finish.

Q : How do i clean the crystals without damaging the chrome finish?

A : First disconnect the power. Gently wipe the crystal rim with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using household cleaners or abrasive pads, which can dull the chrome. A mild, non‑abrasive polish can be applied sparingly if a shine is desired.

Q : Do the crystals shed or flake over time?

A : The crystals are solid and do not shed. Over time dust and lint may accumulate on the facets, so periodic wiping is recommended to keep the light looking bright.

Q : Can i install this pendant in a high‑traffic hallway or stairwell?

A : Yes, it can be installed in areas with frequent foot traffic, but you should ensure a secure mounting to the ceiling and keep the space clear of clutter. The pendant itself does not pose a hazard to people walking below.

Q : Does this pendant affect the comfort of people walking underneath?

A : The pendant hangs above the ceiling, so it doesn't create a physical obstacle. It simply provides overhead illumination, so foot traffic feels normal as usual.

Q : Is this pendant a good choice for a dining room or kitchen?

A : Its modern crystal hoop and energy‑efficient LED make it a stylish focal point for dining areas. In a kitchen, it can serve as a centerpiece over a table, but make sure the installation location stays away from heat sources and moisture.

Q : How often should i clean this fixture?

A : A light wipe every few weeks is enough to keep it bright. If you notice dust build‑up on the crystal edges, a gentle dry cloth will remove it without affecting the finish.

Q : What is required for installation – do i need a professional electrician?

A : The pendant must be hardwired, so a licensed electrician is recommended. They will ensure proper grounding and safe wiring to accommodate the 36‑W LED load.
