Deere 12" Adjustable Iron/Glass Cage Light LED Pendant

Q : Will this pendant light be safe around pets that like to scratch or chew on cords?

A : The pendant comes with a 6‑foot cord, which is relatively short, but pets still might try to play with it. Keep the fixture away from high‑traffic pet areas or use a cord cover to prevent chewing. If you have a curious or aggressive pet, consider a wall‑mounted option.

Q : How do i keep the metal cage from collecting pet hair?

A : A quick wipe with a microfiber cloth removes most hair and dust. For deeper cleaning, vacuum the cage with a brush attachment or gently brush it with a lint roller. Avoid using any abrasive pads that could scratch the black finish.

Q : Can i use a 9w led bulb i already have, or does it need a special one?

A : The fixture accepts any standard 9W LED, a 40W type A incandescent, or a 13W CFL. The package includes an eco‑friendly 9W LED, so you can use that or swap it out for a bulb you already own.

Q : Is this fixture durable enough for a busy kitchen with kids and pets?

A : Yes, the cage is made of sturdy black metal and the fixture is ETL listed. However, because it’s hardwired, you should have a licensed electrician install it to ensure the wiring can handle the load and protect against accidental damage.

Q : What’s the best way to clean the glass panels without leaving streaks?

A : First disconnect power. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the glass; if needed, dampen the cloth with a small amount of water and dry immediately. Avoid household cleaners or chemicals that could damage the finish.

Q : Will the pendant’s design affect how much foot traffic it can handle in a hallway?

A : The pendant hangs from the ceiling, so it doesn’t directly interact with foot traffic. Just ensure the ceiling mount is secure; otherwise, the fixture can handle normal household use in any room, including high‑traffic areas.

Q : Where would this pendant look best—over a kitchen island, dining table, or maybe a bedroom?

A : It pairs nicely over kitchen islands, dining tables, or living rooms where the industrial look complements rustic or farmhouse décor. In bedrooms, you might prefer a softer, dimmer light, but it can still work if you choose a lower‑brightness bulb.
